Let me list the problems:

Poor Spelling and Grammar

Poor Continuity

Unrealistic Plot

Canon Rape (some of it is interesting, but some-like the portrayal of Snape as a pedo- I take great exception to)

Unrealistic Interpretation of Goths (As someone partly gothic, I should know)

Unnecessary Ellipses

Unrealistic character behaviour

The Author's notes.

But to state a few... the series has its fans, but I don't really like it.
