In some ways, I am quite old. Especially old enough to have remembered what happened here.
Once upon a time there was a YT user by the name of BlackBusterCritic. He got quite a lot of views from many things.. one of which was targeting the "Sonicfag" Community.
These individuals would have been considered strange and weird by conventional society, due to their interests in Sonic. Maybe some interests were intense. But as an aspergian, I know a lot about intense interests, believe me. But I know my forum well enough to know that we are not conventional society. This little swine BlackBusterCritic got a good proportion of his views from making fun of these people.
He got tons of views and popularity from this, whilst his victims were further harrassed and bullied (as I believe the fact that he made a video on the first place about them was harrassment and bullying).
Thankfully, unlike the Facebook Admins, the Admins of Youtube did not act on popular bias. They banned BlackBusterCritic and deleted his account. This at least meant that he could not continue to harrass other people. Unfortunately, though, many of his videos still remain.
