PostSubject: Are we unfairly judged by our accent?   Tue Jul 23, 2013 4:54 pm

Of course we are. Of course we are.

I used to have an Indian Accent once, and I got bullied a lot because of it both in primary school and in secondary school. Even to a small extent in sixth form. It only truly stopped once I got to University (because so many people have different accents, so it's hard to single out one person for their accent and make fun of them).

I had to change it slowly to an English Accent (which is what I have now), and my English accent does sound rather posh, if I do say so myself.

Of course people are still unfairly judged on their accents, and it's down to little cunts like Katie Hopkins.
