EU asks Britain to explain new 'allowances' in bankers' pay

A month ago-hell, a few weeks ago-if you asked me whether I would end up respecting anything the EU did, I would have laughed.

Most people don't like the EU as it's taking jobs away from the economy, and is full of little cocks in Brussels who have no idea how the UK works, but presume to run it anyway.

And yet here is an example of the EU doing something good for a change.

I've a long way to go before I respect the EU, but I have respect for the decision they made.
